IPTV on Apple TV, iPhone and iPad
Apple devices make a polished, quiet way to watch Epix IPTV. Here’s which Apple TV model to use, how to choose a player from the App Store, and the tvOS settings that make sport look smooth.

Set up on Apple TV
Update tvOS
Settings → System → Software Updates → Update Software.
Get the player from the App Store
Search for the app we recommended. Some are free; others charge a one-time or yearly fee to their developer.
Add your login
Choose the Xtream Codes option. Many apps let you type on your iPhone using the Apple TV Remote keyboard prompt.
Let the first load finish
Then open a channel and add favorites.
Picture settings worth changing
- Match Content: Settings → Video and Audio → Match Content. Turn on Match Frame Rate for smoother sport and Match Dynamic Range to avoid washed-out colors.
- Format: set it to your TV’s highest resolution (often 4K SDR) and let Match Content switch to HDR when needed.
- Wired network: if you have the Ethernet model, plug it in. It’s the most stable option for live channels.
iPhone & iPad
Watching on iPhone or iPad, and AirPlay
Install the same player app from the App Store on your iPhone or iPad and sign in with your login. To move the picture to a TV with an Apple TV or an AirPlay-compatible Smart TV:
Join the same Wi-Fi network
Your iPhone and the TV need to be on the same network.
Tap AirPlay in the player
Or open Control Center and tap Screen Mirroring.
Choose your TV
Enter the code shown on the TV the first time.

Why do Apple player apps sometimes cost money?
App developers set their own prices on the App Store. Any fee goes to the developer, not to Epix IPTV, and we’ll tell you before you install if the app we suggest isn’t free.
Is Apple TV better than a Fire TV Stick?
Apple TV 4K is faster and receives updates for longer, and the Ethernet model is very stable. A Fire TV Stick 4K Max is much cheaper and also works very well. Both are good choices.
Sport looks jerky on my Apple TV.
Turn on Match Frame Rate in Settings → Video and Audio → Match Content, and use a wired connection if possible.
Can I use mobile data on my iPhone?
Yes. Live TV in HD uses roughly 1.5–3 GB per hour, so keep an eye on your allowance.
